Earn
As a teenager, by now you know that in order to get the things you want, you need ways for teens to make money. Food, clothes, everything costs money.
When you were a kid, it wasn’t much of a big deal to get the things you needed, but as you grow up, you begin to understand how things work. In order to buy things you need money and in order to make money, you need to earn it.
A lot of teenagers rely solely on there parents for everything they need and all the money they spend. You can’t expect your parents to pay for everything you want for the rest of your life and you can’t expect to be treated like an adult by your parents, or anyone for that matter, if you’re constantly asking your parents for money to pay for everything.
You are probably looking for ways for teens to make money and want to know how teens make money fast.
As you get older, you need to start paying for things yourself. To do this, you must start making your own money. By making your own money, you can start making your own decisions and begin your path to independence.
You can probably make more money on your own than the 20 bucks you parents toss your way every once in a while anyway.
The things you start paying for yourself and the amount you earn is going to depend on your age. I’m not saying that as soon as you turn 13 you must go get a job and pay for everything you need. That’s incredibly demanding for someone who may have never worked a day in his life and is still having trouble balancing life and school.
If you are 15 years old or younger, you are at a good age to start learning the ins and outs of earning and saving money. Also, you will want to experience the feeling of spending the money that you earned.
A good place to start at this age is asking your parents for ideas ways for teens to make money. They may be able to give you extra chores around the house or know friends or family that need things done that are willing to pay you for it.
Maybe you have an elderly neighbor that needs help cleaning, upkeep in their yard, or help with groceries.
You may find a small business that is willing to hire you part time for a few hours a week to help clean or do small tasks for them. Ask around at tailor shops, salons, pizza parlors, and any other type of small business.
And, of course, there is always babysitting, which could turn very profitable for you if your good at it and you can get a lot of clients. In that case, it may turn into a nice small business.
That is another idea. Starting your own business would be a great way to earn extra money and still be you own boss.
You can go the old-fashioned, turn in cans route, but you have to have a lot of cans to get anything significant. This is definitely not how teens make money fast. 20 cans equals $1, so if you want $100, you’ll need 2,000 cans. If you have 2,000 cans then that’s great, you might as well cash them in. I don’t know about you, but I don’t go through that much soda in a small amount of time.
As you get older, maybe around 16 or older, job opportunities arise. It’s a good idea to start applying to jobs in supermarkets, malls, or any type of part time job near you. Starting a real job can earn you experience and references for future jobs that may lead into your career.
Look for a job that you think you will like that you can stick with. It doesn’t look good if you’ve worked at 15 jobs and quit each one after 2 weeks because you didn’t like it.
Having a couple different jobs can be good experience and give you a little taste of different things, but don’t overdo it. Get a real job once you’re old enough, but if your small business has taken off, of course, keep it up!
It may be exciting to get your first job. It’s the first time you get to make your own money, and it will probably be a lot more money than you’re used to. Find something to do because I’m sure you have some free time on your hands and free time can equal cash if you use it right. Every boring summer that goes by without you making money, is another summer that you are broke.
Beat boredom and lack of money all at once, get a job! If you want to know some ways for teens to make money and if you want to know how teens make money fast, read on.
