This is one of my favorite money making sites so far, even though you don’t actually make money.
Live search club is from Microsoft. In order to sign up you need to have a hotmail account, which is free. I already had a hotmail email address, so I didn’t have to worry about that.
There are 7 games you can play. They are all connected to msn search in some way. My favorite one is crosswire. You receive categories on the left and right and match them up. What I like about it is that even if you get stuck, you can just guess the match and keep correcting yourself until it’s right and still get full tickets.
Instead of the typical points, you get tickets. It’s pretty much the same thing, they just call them tickets. For crosswire you can get up to 20 points. There are other games such as chicktionary, clink, dingbats, and others. Check out the site to see the rest of the games and to get a description of each.
Eventually your points add up and you can exchange them for prizes. This is the best part. They are not lousy prizes such as posters, but you can get some pretty cool stuff.
The lowest prizes are free ring tones and song downloads, playing cards, travel mugs, etc. With more tickets you can get things such as headphones, t-shirts, magazines, movie tickets, video games, etc.
The top prizes are Microsoft vista for 20,000 points, a Microsoft Zune for 20,000 points, and the highest prize, an Xbox 360 pro bundle for 35,000 points.
Yes, it’s a lot of points, but they can add up fast if you get really good at the games and play a lot. If you find yourself mindlessly surfing the internet or watching t.v., try playing some games and earning tickets for free stuff instead.
Another perk is that you don’t have to pay for shipping. I already have 2 prizes, a travel drive and a tote bag, on the way and I paid nothing.
If you aren’t interest in any of the prizes and would rather make money, you can win the higher prizes and sell them. For instance, if you earned enough tickets for an xbox 360 but don’t like video games, you can sell it on Amazon.com or ebay and make a couple hundred dollars or more. Of course, it will look better to sell if you haven’t opened up the box at all.
I love this one because it’s kind of fun and absolutely free. No trial offers, no emails, just games!
